These Terms govern your use of the sho.run apps and related services provided by sho.run LLC. By downloading, accessing, or using sho.run, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
sho.run is software for controlling stage lighting, visuals, and audio from a single cue list on iPad, Android tablet, and Mac. Features, supported hardware, and availability may change as the product develops.
Beta / pre-release software
sho.run is currently offered as beta (pre-release) software. It may contain bugs, change without notice, or be interrupted. Do not rely on it as your only system for a critical show without testing it first, and always keep a fallback plan. Beta access may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be old enough to form a binding contract to use sho.run. You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in secure and let us know of any unauthorized use.
Subscriptions, trials & billing
Paid tiers are sold as subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; billing, refunds, and renewals are subject to the applicable store's policies.
Acceptable use
Don't use sho.run to break the law, infringe others' rights, or interfere with venues, networks, or equipment you're not authorized to control. Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the service except as permitted by law. You're responsible for having the rights to any content (including media and shaders) you import or display.
Show safety & operation
You are responsible for the safe operation of your show. Lighting effects, including strobes and flashing content, can pose risks to people with photosensitive epilepsy and others. sho.run applies a 3 Hz clamp on color-effect strobes and offers photographer- and camera-friendly modes as aids — they are not guarantees, and a separate special-effects strobe path can run at operator-set rates. We make no seizure-safety claims and do not certify against any specific standard. Always follow venue rules and applicable safety regulations, and post warnings where appropriate.
You are also responsible for the electrical, rigging, and network safety of the gear you connect.
Third-party services & hardware
sho.run works with third-party hardware (lighting fixtures, mixers, interfaces) and services (app stores, RevenueCat, NDI, and others). We don't control those and aren't responsible for their availability, performance, or terms. NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB.
Intellectual property
sho.run and its software, design, and content are owned by sho.run LLC and its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app under these Terms. You keep ownership of your own show files and content.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, sho.run LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using sho.run at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product and legal requirements evolve. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
