You can delete your sho.run account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens when you do.
How to delete your account & data
You have two options:
- In the app — open Settings and choose to delete your account. This runs our account-deletion process, which removes your account and cascades the deletion of associated records.
- By email — write to [email protected] from the email address on your account (or tell us which address to remove), with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We'll verify and process it.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems and instruct our processors to do the same, including:
- Your account and email address (Supabase);
- Your analytics identity and profile (PostHog);
- Your email/marketing profile (Klaviyo);
- Your subscription/entitlement linkage (RevenueCat), subject to store records.
What stays on your device
Your show and stage files live on your device, not on our servers, so account deletion doesn't touch them — you remain in full control and can delete them yourself at any time.
What we may retain
We may retain limited information where required by law or for legitimate business needs, such as records of purchases held by the app stores, and aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you. Store-side purchase and billing records are governed by Apple's and Google's policies.
Timeline
We process deletion requests promptly, typically within 30 days. Backups and processor systems may take additional time to fully purge on their normal cycles.
